Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) Scope Definition Worksheet

This worksheet is a tool to help local school districts draft an RFP (Request for Proposals) for a public school district-wide facility condition assessment (FCA). The tool helps the user clarify the level of detail, scope boundaries, and deliverables required from an FCA consultant. The worksheet can help users communicate clear expectations and receive comparable proposals that meet local needs. The tool was developed by James Hand, Director of Facilities, Fargo (North Dakota) Public Schools, and made available through a partnership with the National Center on School Infrastructure.
