On April 26, 2024 the White House hosted the first-ever national Summit on Healthy & Sustainable K-12 School Buildings & Grounds. Participants included federal agency officials, presidential aides, and congressional staff, as well as 90 state-level and local leaders in education, construction, labor and energy. NCSI Co-Director Jeff Vincent of UC Berkeley facilitated one of the featured panel discussions, focusing on equity in school facilities and infrastructure.
