Expanding Opportunity Through Quality Charter Schools Program (CSP)-State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grant (SFIG) Program

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has issued a notice inviting applications for fiscal year 2025 for the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grant (SFIG) Program.

Through the CSP SFIG program, ED provides grants on a competitive basis to eligible States to help them establish or enhance, and administer, a per-pupil facilities aid program for charter schools and provides annual financing, on a per-pupil basis, for charter school facilities. Charter schools that receive financial assistance through CSP SFIG Grants provide elementary or secondary education, or both, and may also serve students in early childhood education programs or postsecondary students.

Applications Available: May 9, 2025.

Deadline for Notice of Intent to Apply: Applicants are strongly encouraged but not required to submit a notice of intent to apply by June 9, 2025.

Application Deadline: July 8, 2025.
