Through Your Lens: Student and Teacher Views of School Facilities across America

This booklet, created by The 21st Century School Fund, Critical Exposure, and Healthy Schools Campaign, presents photos and essays about the conditions of public school facilities submitted by students, teachers, and community members from across the country. The photos and stories were exhibited at the Rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building from Oct. 5-9, 2009 to raise awareness of the need for a federal role in supporting the renovation and construction of safe, healthy, and educationally appropriate school buildings that are built and maintained in ways that are environmentally and fiscally responsible.
