Join Green Schoolyards America for their next Community of Practice for School Yards Forests on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11am PT/2pm ET.
This session will feature a schoolyard forest pilot created by 112nd Street Elementary in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Speakers from Green Schoolyards America, LAUSD and 122nd Street will share an overview of the project process, the roles of various stakeholders, and their perspectives on how this pilot schoolyard forest aligns with and moves forward district goals.
The Community of Practice monthly discussion forum takes place on the third Thursday of the month at 11am PT/2pm ET unless otherwise noted. Participation is free and open to school districts, county offices of education, public agencies, landscape architects, tree planting organizations and practitioners form across the country.
