Public School Capital Outlay Council: Facility Master Plan Components and Guidelines

The New Mexico Public Schools Facility Authority developed these Facitlies Master Plan Components and Guidelines with input from school district representatives ranging from small to large districts, state-chartered charter schools, and professional planners from around the state. The guidelines aim to:

• develop reporting requirements that are clear, concise, and not overly burdensome;
• present master plan content logically in a manner that reflects the capital planning process; and
• provide assistance and guidance to districts in formulating a facilities master plan.
