This session will feature Austin Independent School District’s Urban Forester, Sydnie Levell, whose work focuses on the development and implementation of a districtwide urban forestry program, and oversees the health and growth of Austin’s heritage trees as well as key partnerships to support tree canopy in schools.
The Community of Practice monthly discussion forum takes place on the third Thursday of the month at 11am PT/2pm ET unless otherwise noted. Participation is free and open to school districts, county offices of education, public agencies, landscape architects, tree planting organizations and practitioners form across the country.
