- 2027 Magna Awards
The 2027 Magna Awards will recognize school districts leading the way in healthy schools and strong indoor air quality practices, with $5,000 grand prizes for winning districts. To be eligible for the awards, school districts must enact a new IAQ Management Plan and document reductions in GHG emissions.
Indoor air quality is closely connected to student learning, attendance, energy use, and school health. The National School Board Association’s Magna Awards offer districts an opportunity to strengthen their approach to IAQ and receive national recognition for creating healthier learning environments.
Learn more about the program and apply by visiting the National School Board Associations Magna Awards resource page.
Applications are due October 31, 2026.
