On November 4, 2024, National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) hosted a webinar to present their new report, Energy Efficient and Healthy K-12 Public School Facilities: Opportunities for State Energy Offices and State Education Agencies to Collaborate, which details how State and Territory Energy Offices can work with State Education Agencies and other partners to broaden capacity and provide technical assistance to K-12 school districts on designing and operating sustainable, energy efficient, and healthy public school facilities.
The webinar highlighted resources on best practices for State Energy Offices on administering existing school energy programs and strengthening cross-agency partnerships to advance energy-efficient and healthy school buildings.
